Viva Las Vegas Comes to Orlando
For the 15th Annual “ALL THAT JAZZ” to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
November 6, 2008, ORLANDO, Fla.- On November 9, 2008 the 15th Annual All That Jazz luncheon will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Rosen Plaza Hotel. The luncheon begins at 2 p.m. followed by a local St. Jude patient, Tori Niccum’s story. Tori was diagnosed at the age of four with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She is now 10-years-old and doing well. “She is making slow and steady progress,” said Carol Schultz, grandmother of Tori. “After having overcome a horrific car accident this past summer that left her in a coma for 10 days, I truly believe that it is because of St. Jude that she has the will and hope to never give up.”
The event includes Las Vegas themed games and dancing. Live entertainment and music features P.J. Leary and the Las Vegas Sounds, Peter Alden as Elvis Presley, CJ King as Connie Francis, and other Las Vegas performers. Also, Vegas themed games and a dance floor will entertain guests after dining.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tenn., is one of the premier pediatric cancer research centers. Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude does not discriminate against race, religion, or a family’s inability to pay. St. Jude, founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas in 1962, was built on the premise that “No Child should die in the dawn of life.” The impact of the life saving work done at St. Jude extends throughout the country and around the world.
If you are interested in participating, the cost for a single ticket is $60. Admission includes luncheon and live entertainment.
